Storsjöhyttan began operating in autumn 1995 as Jämtland's first and only glasswork studio, comprising a workshop, shop and gallery. It occupies the old electric power station at the Östersund Marina. The glasswork is owned and opetarated by glassblowers and designers Ulla Gustafsson, Anna Lena Kauppi and Nilla Eneroth. All products are handmade i.e. fabricated entirely in the furnace.
