Most people recognise the classic Ballograf pen. Fewer people know that the company was founded by an Austrian, in Gothenburg in 1945. Ballografverken AB launched a user friendly ballpoint pen, which, with it's light proof ink was perfect for large organizations and authorities. In 1959 Ballograf was bought by french BIC that made the company to an interantional big seller. In 2004 the brand and production facilities was sold back to swedish ownership and is now, again, company operating under swedish flag.
