Swedishness is, first and foremost, a web shop for selected, well designed Swedish souvenirs. Swedishness also provides products and tailored gift services for companies that wishes a Swedish touch for special occasions, events and promotion.

Swedishness is designed by (co-owner) Mathias Strömberg and running on PolarBear CMS, developed by MarsApril.

Green policy

Our ambition is to only work with suppliers and speditors who has an environmental policy. Our packaging are produced with EU Ecolabel standard. We will soon have a climate neutral choice for your parcel delivery. It will cost more but leave no carbon footprint.

 

Confidentiality

All personal information that is saved in accordance with Swedish law on personal information protection, Personuppgiftslagen, PUL. No information will be made available to anyone else than swedish police with a Swedish court order.

No credit card information is saved after your purchase is finished.

Terms for purchase

You have to be at least 18 years of age to shop at Swedishness.com.

You have to process a valid payment with any of the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard or Diners.

Order placed without consent in someone elses name will be reported to Swedish police.

Payment processed with a credit card reported as stolen will be reported to Swedish police and card issuer.

Swedishness reserves the right to refuse a company or indivdual access to web site, to delete account / account information and / or orders.

 

Confirmation

When your purchase has been processed a confirmation mail will be sent to the e-mail you state. The order number in this confirmation shall be stated if you have requests regarding this order.

 

Prices

All prices on Swedishness.com are per one item only unless otherwise stated. The prices are stated in the currency you have chosen (Sek, Euro or US Dollar) and the price at the time of purchase is fixed.

 

VAT / Sales Tax

All prices in SEK and EURO are counted with 25% VAT. All prices in USD are counted without VAT. It is the buyers responsibility to pay VAT, customs and other taxes in the receiving country. For orders to outside EU, the VAT will be withdrawn from the sum total on the checkout page, and for orders within the EU, VAT will be added if needed. Customs

Orders to other countries than Sweden are subject to local laws and regulations. Swedishness are not responsible for any added costs due to these.

 

Methods of Delivery

Swedishness delivers with your chosen carrier (Posten in Sweden and FedEx for international orders) and there will be no extra charges added to the stated sum on checkout and confirmation.

 

Time of Delivery

Our ambition is to post your order the following working day. At high season this can be an additional working day. Time of delivery within Sweden is one day when the parcel has been sent. For international deliveries the times vary from 3 to 10 days, depending on country. These times are for major areas and citys, and local differencies may occur, for which Swedishness are not responsible.

 

Returns

You have the right to return your product, with unbroken seal and unused, in 14 days after purchase, in accordance with Swedish law. If you return a product without exchange wishes, you will be refunded within 30 days. If the product is defect or broken on arrival, Swedishness will pay for the return cost. If you had a change of heart and no longer wish to purchase the product, you will have to pay for the return.

We will charge x Euros to cover costs for packages that has been automatically returned. Subject to additional charges.

 

Force Majeur

Swedishness are not responsible for any unforseen events such as war, natural disasters, import restrictions or such events that revokes the completion of purchase or order.

 

Övrigt

The customer is responsible for taking part of the current Terms & Conditions at the time of purchase. These regulate the transaction.

If a product is not in stock or any information regarding a product is faulty in such a way that this is obvious, we reserve the right to change or cancel the order accordingly.

Since all computers and screens are different we cannot guarantee perfect match on images, colours and / or sizes.

Swedishness reserves the right to change specifications provided by a third party or supplier that is incorrect.
